Steve and Cheryl Albrecht arrived in Tenerife in March 2007 due to the partnership of sending churches in the U.S., Venezuela and TEAM Spain. Upon arrival, they found that there had been a group praying for twenty years that God would send missionaries to the valley of Tenerife.

In July 2007 they held their first worship meeting at the Iglesia Cristana Fuente de Paz Y Esperanze (Fountain of Peace and Hope Christian Church). By July 2008 the church had grown to 50 members with many more in attendance on a regular basis.

The Albrechts have been involved in evangelism, pastoral care, administration and discipleship. Some of the ways they encourage the church is through Bible studies, Christmas programs, a basketball/sports ministry and distributing food to needy families. Prayer Requests

Pray for continued spiritual growth for those who have already believed and are going through discipleship.

Pray for the training of new leaders.

Pray for those who will hear the Gospel for the first time through various means of evangelism.

Pray for wisdom and discernment as people are chosen to head up new ministries.

Thank the Lord for those who have been assigned ministry responsibilities.

Pray for Steve and Cheryl as they continue to explore avenues of ministry that will draw people to the Gospel.
