Welcome to growingthroughfaith.com! This website serves as a front door to our ministry. We hope you get a feel for who we are, but of course a website is not a church. We don't want you to stop here - we want you to join us! Are you ready to really open the door? Simply BE OUR GUEST sometime soon at Faith Church, where you'll find friendly people who love and enjoy God. We want you to connect with us and be a part of our community. We would be honored to have you as our guest.
What to Expect
Weekend worship at Faith Church is comprised of several elements to assist in our worship of God. There are times for prayer, breakfast, great music and dynamic teaching that is relevant for today. The music at Faith is led by a talented live band that blends various styles of music from traditional hymns to contemporary praises that thematically support God’s message each week. People may start coming at 9:00 a.m. for an informal prayer time some weeks while they may wait to come to just the service at 11:00 a.m. other weeks – that is up to you.
During the week, we have activities for all ages. On Thursday evenings we have B.U.S., Trail Life, American Heritage Girls, and Adult Bible Study. There are also various Discipleship Groups on different days of the week. Hopefully one or more of these will pique your interest and fit your schedule.
The culture of Faith Church allows you to come comfortably to church. We welcome you to dress as nicely as you'd like – some people may have on coat and tie or a dress while others are more comfortable in jeans. We look forward to getting to know you however you are comfortable.
We realize that attending any church for the first time can be a bit intimidating. We will do our best to make you feel at home and hope that you will enjoy connecting to God and connecting with us.
Frequently Asked Questions
What will my first visit be like? Although there are some traditional elements, it probably isn’t totally “church as usual." Depending on your church, religious background or past experiences, we hope your visit to Faith will be a refreshing, God-filled experience. As our guest, you will not have to stand up to introduce yourself in the service or anything like that. We know that many people want to check out the church and “be anonymous” for awhile—and that’s fine with us! Come in, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, meet some people and see if this is the church for you.
What is a Sunday morning service like? The Sunday service is loaded with great music, has a special message for children and relevant messages from God’s word that are helpful to your daily life. While we enjoy some traditional elements and are conservative theologically, we frame this in blended style of worship that allows people to understand God’s truth as relevant for today.
Where do I take my students? Once you arrive, our Guest Services team will help you. If it is for Sunday school, they will take you to the Student Areas and get your children checked in and situated. They will have a safe and fun-filled experience at Faith Church that will encourage them to have a relationship with Jesus.
- We offer a NURSERY to PRESCHOOL that provides a safe and loving environment for our children’s specific needs at different developmental milestones.
- Our ELEMENTARY (K – 4th Grade) is geared developmentally as well.
- Route 56 (5th and 6th Grades) meets in the YOUTH Area, but operates as their own “youth group”.
- Junior and Senior High Students have their own space in the Youth area as well.
During the Worship Service, we provide a loving Nursery. Preschoolers begin by joining their parents in the service to enjoy the music before going to their own special worship time.
